Since 2001, Nicole has worked in educational environments, first with young adults and now with teens. Trained in Cognitive Coaching, Mental Health First Aid, and having completed Ally Training, she received a Post-Baccalaureate in Education specializing in Counselling.

Nicole is dedicated to helping teens and young adults maneuver through the challenges that these particular stages of life bring. She helps teen and young adult clients build and maintain mental wellness and resiliency, as well as develop efficacy and a positive growth mindset to carry through life.

In addition, being a parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, Nicole has personal experience in navigating the complex emotions and experiences of parents with neurodivergent children. While therapy for special needs children is common, their parents also benefit from counselling/therapeutic care—though too often that is neglected in favour of the myriad of other needs that present.

Nicole Rosevere

Nicole is committed to strengthening parents’ mental wellness and resiliency and helping parents build a life that is fulfilling. Then, in turn, they can better support their children.

Having 22 years of classroom experience, Nicole also works with teachers looking to manage the emotional overload the work of teaching can cause and help those clients not only avoid burnout but find joy.

She uses a person-centered approach, meeting each new client where he/she/ze/they are at in life, and helping the client to address issues so that ultimately one can create the life one desires. She uses strength-based and solution-focused approaches.

Nicole is also presently working toward her certification as a Child-Centred Animal-Assisted Learning Practitioner with the Child-Centred Animal-Assisted Therapy Association (CCAATA).
